About the Role

As HSE Superintendent, you’ll play a key role in ensuring Redpath’s high standards are met and exceeded.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive improvements in safety and training across departments
• Ensure compliance with Redpath’s Management Operating Procedures (MOPs)
• Maintain and coordinate training needs analysis and documentation
• Oversee environmental compliance and workplace inspections
• Manage rehabilitation and return-to-work programs
• Deliver risk assessment and JSA training
• Lead toolbox talks and safety meetings
• Support incident investigations and reporting
• Advise management on WHS legislation
• Contribute to roster change discussions and staff meetings

About You

• Proven experience in a senior safety role within mining
• Certificate IV in OHS (mandatory); Training & Assessment (beneficial)
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• In-depth knowledge of WHS and Workers’ Compensation legislation
• ICAM qualifications highly regarded
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Detail-oriented with a passion for continuous improvement
